1/23 Progress
Been plugging away as I can on 0.30. Losing my voice for much of last week made it hard to use speech to text to write, and I've been pretty busy with IRL, but tried to work on stuff that didn't require voice. With the help of other players, I think I have a pretty solid set of ideas to update the channel system and some stats, but there's no way I can justify trying to force all of that into this update, at least not without risking A LOT of bugs. So, maybe next time.
The goddess sketches have been fun, I think they all have a pretty good visual direction now, even if they won't be ingame for quite a while. Nor's followup sketches were great for helping me visualize their body language too!
Writing wise, Maya and Metatron are getting some stuff. Maya trying to emulate her sifu, while Metatron... let's just say Ashley is doing her best. Not sure who else I'll get to this update, but I don't want to drag it out, so I'll probably start looking for a good stopping point soon.
Tentative plans... I'm gonna try to wrap it up this weekend or the first half of next week, then move onto a larger Valentines update. More on that when we get closer.

"While Metatron...let's just say Ashley is doing her best"? Does this mean the prank war is coming soon? Does the MC want to hide behind Sarah while Metatron and Ashley are pranking each other? Will Maya get involved in the prank war??
That aside, looking forwards to new content! Speaking as a beta tester, wait until you are comfortable updating before pushing out a new version. I've had devs push a new version out regardless of how smooth it worked, and some of them are "uh, this bug makes it completely unplayable". One thing if it's something that's out of the way or counter-intuitive, quite another if it's "this is fully expected that the player does this and there's a bug that stops them from moving forward".
Oh no, Ashley is a good girl. She's helping (mostly).
I think it was back in 0.18, we had a HUGE clusterfuck from... channels I believe, took me 14 hours straight of working to fix it lol. Since then I've been making use of betas and planning ahead a bit better for initial releases to try to catch issues early and fix them before it becomes a major issue.
There are still bugs ofc, but nothing of that scale... so far.
love to see more progress. hope your voice feels better soon. didnt know you used text to speech to write this. how does the sex scenes work? do you live alone because otherwise thats gotta be really awkward.

Yeah, I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking for most writing, to try to save my hands from worse RSI.
Sex scenes generally aren't a problem, it definitely felt weird to narrate at the start tho LMAO. More or less used to it now, but I tend to use more typing for those to try to get it to feel right.
